Regional Interest Groups – RIGs
RIGs are Regional Interest Groups whose members share an area of interest such as pronunciation, translation, culture, professional development and children.
RIGs’ members are willing to share ideas, foster professional development, organize events and make things happen. The Academic chair is responsible for its general organization.
All BRAZ-TESOL members can take part in the RIGs.
RIGs meet once a month for 2 or 3 hours (Total: 20h minimum).
What is expected from the RIGs’ members?
· To write articles about the topics studied and discussed for the national and regional Newsletter or to any other publication.
· To share knowledge acquired in workshops, demontrations, panel discussions and others.
· To coordinate new study groups.
