What’s a RIG?

Regional Interest Groups are study groups under the BRAZ-TESOL Regional Chapter - Curitiba coordination. These groups bring together teachers and academics with the objective of discussing topics of a particular interest in fields such as Pronunciation, Methodology and Children, etc.

How do they work?

A study group is basically a group of people that discusses topics related to specific areas. The participants can read a chapter of a book or an article to discuss what they have read and then meet monthly (2 hours/ 2 hours 30 minutes) to share ideas, search for complementary readings, etc.

How are the meetings organized?

Meetings will be held according to the schedule proposed by the coordinator of each group , and will total a minimum of 20hs.

Who can participate?

The RIGs are open to ALL members of the BRAZ-TESOL in good standing only.

What are the next steps?

Choose a RIG you would like to participate and according to your availability. Get in contact with the coordinator (they are all willing for you to come!!)
